Goa CM condoles demise of renowned actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar

Panaji, Sep 22 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday condoled demise of renowned actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar.
In a tweet, he said,''I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of Ashalata Wabgaonkar Ji. We have lost one of the greatest artist of Goa. Remembering her wonderful performances and contribution to Indian cinema. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family.''
Wabgaonkar died at a hospital in Satara on Tuesday after battling coronavirus. The Goa-born actress had reportedly contracted the infection during the shootings of a television serial.
