Panaji, Oct 22 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant chaired a meeting of the high power committee for Sonsodo Garbage Treatment Plant and meeting regarding proposed Solid Waste Management Facility at Bainguinim at State Secretariat at Porvorim on Tuesday.
The Chief Minster was of the firm opinion that solution should come out for Sonsodo Garbage Treatment Plant to tackle the garbage menace. He assured that the Government would resolve the matter between Fomento and Margao Municipal Council.
'I will personally speak to Fomento Chairman & request him to hand over the Sonsoso plant to Goa Solid Waste Management Corporation in the interest of people,' he said.
