Goa CM attends BJP's CEC meeting

Panaji, Jan 19 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by BJP National President J P Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP Goa unit president Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP Goa incharge C T Ravi, party's national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, BJP Goa Organising Secretary Satish Dhondh, among others.

Aurangabad/Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole on Sunday raised doubt over sincerity of the Modi government at the Centre in giving relief to the people of the country by reducing excise duty on fuel and demanded to abolish unfair taxes on fuel from 2014 onwards so that fuel prices can be reduced in real sense and inflation can be curbed.
