Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 26 2016 9:45PM GMR Group bags contract to construct Mopa Airport in GoaPanaji, Aug 26 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar today announced that Bengaluru-based GMR Group has bagged the contract to construct new International Airport at Mopa plateau in the state on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis.Speaking to reporters here, the Chief Minister said in its bid the GMR Group offered highest revenue sharing ratio of 36.99 per cent to the Goa government, beating other bidders -- Airports Authority of India (AAI) which had offered 32.31 per cent and Essel Infrastructure Projects Limited which had offered 27 per cen of revenue sharing.Mr Parsekar termed the contract as a positive sign which would boost economy of the state and informed that the airport would have a mall, hospitality and entertainment hub.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #GMR Group bags contract to construct Mopa Airport in Goa
