GMC to start treatment for infertility soon: Vishwajit Rane

Panaji, Dec 4 (UNI) Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Tuesday announced that very soon Goa Medical College and Hospital, the premier government-run hospital in the state, will start treatment for infertility.
Addressing a press conference at his private residence in the city, he said the state government had decided to tie up with well known infertility specialist Dr Nandita Palshetkar to begin treatment in the Gynaecology Department of GMC.
Mr Rane said to begin with GMC would have Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) facility within a month and In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) facility within six months.
