Global Skill Park to be set up at Manesar to make youth skilled

Chandigarh, Jun 26 (UNI) A Global Skill Park based on Singapore model would be set up at Manesar in Gurugram district, to make the youth of the state skilled and efficient.
This was disclosed at a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to review various skill development schemes being implemented in Haryana.
Mr Rudy directed officers of the Central and state governments to constitute a joint team which would visit Singapore for establishing the Global Skill Park in Haryana. Sector Skill Centres would also be set up in Faridabad, Nuh, Hisar, Fatehabad and Bhiwani where training would be imparted to youth. To be made functional within five months, these centres would serve as models, and the Union Ministry would assist the state government in making them come up.
