Give up MLA post also, Congress tells Saji Cheriyan

Thiruvananthapuram, July 6 (UNI) CPI(M) leader Saji Cheriyan, who resigned from the second Pinarayi Vijayan Cabinet, has no moral right to continue as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) in view of his anti-Constitution remarks, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President K Sudhakaran opined on Wednesday.
Talking to newspersons here, the Congress leader said "Since Saji Ceriyan is not apologetic about his mistakes, the Congress party will opt for legal action to strip off his MLA post."
The resignation of Saji Cheriyan is the first wicket in the second LDF Government, he added.
