Give up differences, work together for victory in elections: Naidu to cadre

Amaravati, Feb 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu asked TDP cadres to give up their differences and work together for the victory of the party in the upcoming Lok Shabha elections.
Addressing the TDP leaders through teleconference here on Saturday, he said that voting for YSRCP is amounted to voting for Narendra Modi and Telangna Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. “Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is acting like a puppet in the hands of Modi and KCR. The remote control of Jagan Reddy is in the hands of Modi and KCR”, he said, adding that the three parties are working with sole agenda that is hampering the prospects of the state.
“We are going to fight with criminals in the ensuing elections and you should be alert and careful. The YSRCP works for self-mileage and the TDP works for the welfare of people” he said.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Visakhapatnam to address BJP meeting on March 1. People should ask him why he did not grant the Special Category Status (SCS) to AP and failed to hounour Reorganisation Act provisions. The TDP would work with the national parties, which support granting of Special Category Status to AP," he said.
Mr Naidu said that the first phase of discussions to select candidates in 7 Parliamentary constituencies have been completed. The party would select candidates after taking to all aspirants, he informed. He said that the political situation is in favour of the TDP in Rayalaseema region as agriculture produce had been enhanced by providing irrigation water.
“The development works which have carried out for the last five years will fetch us votes. Take the welfare schemes, being implemented by the state, to the people. All TDP leaders and activists should reach out people” he asked the TDP cadre.
