Girls must protect values: MP CM

Bhopal, Feb 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Thursday issued a clarion call to the state’s daughters vis-a-vis fulfilling the responsibility of safeguarding social values.
“Contribute towards connecting the future generation with these principles. The culture of unity and respect towards family ethics is India’s greatest strength,” he was officially quoted as saying while addressing the Annual Social Gathering of the Rajmata Scindia Post-Graduate College in Chhindwara.
“At the juncture when this academic institution was established, I was a young parliamentarian not possessing much experience but having a cherished dream to create a distinct identity for this district. Chhindwara of those times was entirely different; there were no roads, no broad gauge line, neither colleges nor skill centres; no proper institution for medical treatment and cultivators existed in poverty. The smiles of the children were indeed sweet but there was a disappointment somewhere. I resolved to scotch that despondency and create a new Chhindwara. I did not make announcements, but worked! The development of this district is not hidden from anyone. I desire to make Chhindwara a horticulture hub and also enhance the means of transport,” the Chief Minister averred.
