Girls and Boys outshines each others in Meghalaya Board results

Shillong, Jul 9 (UNI) Boys outshined the girls in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Science stream with 77.76 per cent, while the girls outsmart the boys in Commerce with 83.02 pass per cent in the Class 12 board exams, the results of which were declared by the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) on Thursday.
Out of 3,566 candidates who appeared the HSSLC (science) examinations this year, 2,576 passed out with a pass percentage of 72.24. Similarly, out of 2,179 candidates who appeared the HSSLC (commerce) examinations, 1,684 cleared with a pass percentage of 77.28.
The renowned and one of the oldest educational institutions in the North East, St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong swept the first ten positions in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLC) in both Science and Commerce streams, the results of which were declared by the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) today.
