Police said here today that the incident took place when the girl (18) was returning home. As she alighted from a passenger vehicle, the girl was forcibly taken to a lonely place by the driver of an auto-rickshaw. She was raped by the driver and his three accomplices. "On being resisted by the girl, the accused stabbed her causing serious injuries," police said adding that the girl was found in an unconscious stage this morning and taken to hospital for treatment.
