Giridih Court awards death sentence to man for raping and murdering minor

Giridih, Apr 12 (UNI) A local court in this district today awarded death sentence to a man for raping, murdering a minor.
The court of District and Sessions Judge (Fifth) Sunil Kumar Singh awarded the punishment to the accused identified as Mathura Mahto.
Mahto on May 6, 2011 in Badhidih village located under Gawan Police Station area of this district had lured a minor girl by promise of mangoes and later raped and hacked her to death.
