GIM to host Women’s Leadership Forum on ‘Pathways to Resilient Leadership’

Panaji, Jan 16 (UNI) Goa Institute of Management (GIM) will be organizing a Women’s Leadership Forum on ‘Pathways to Resilient Leadership’ at Taj Vivanta in the city on January 18.
According to a statement from the institute, Goa Governor Mridula Sinha will be chief guest at the event.
The panel discussion will have eminent leaders and personalities who have been trailblazers. They include, Meera Shankar, Retired Civil Servant and Former Indian Ambassador to USA, Brinda Somaya, Architect and Urban Conservationist and Founder of SNK India, Dr Maria Aurora Counto, Writer, Historian and Educationalist, Kshama Fernandes, MD and CEO, Northern Arc and Miti Desai, Classical Dancer, Designer and Founder of Miti Design Lab. The discussion will be moderated by Sarita D’Souza, visiting faculty member at GIM.
Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director, Goa Institute of Management, said “In the 25th year of our inception, we at GIM are focusing on the chosen theme, Principle-Centered Leadership. The women’s leadership forum has on its panel celebrated achievers who have beaten the odds and carved a nice for themselves in their areas of expertise. We are certain that the audience and our students will have significant takeaways from the discussions that will take place among the gathered thought leaders in the domain.”
The conference is one of the several initiatives undertaken by GIM to celebrate the completion of 25 years of imparting knowledge to the country’s future corporate leaders.
