Germany thrashes Netherlands in Hockey World Cup

Bhubaneswar, Dec 5(UNI) Conceding a goal down, Germany bounced back in style to thrash Netherland by 4-1 goals to notch their back to back wins in the Pool D league match of the Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup at Kalinga Stadium here on Wednesday.
From the beginning Netherlands tried to find out spaces with short passing in the fourth quarter Germany defender's displayed quality stuff to stop the Netherlanders.
Mirco Pruijser draw the first blood in the 13th minute for the Dutch after receiving a baseline pass from Valentin Verga infront of the goal post. Though Germany got a PC in the final minute but the first quarter ended with 1-0 lead for Netherlanders.
