Gerald Butler’s explosive thriller ‘Hunter Killer’ to release on Oct 26 in India

Gerald Butler’s explosive thriller ‘Hunter Killer’ to release on Oct 26 in India

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) He has wrestled it out in Sparta, and now Gerard Butler is about to battle some bad guys from the confines of a war submarine in ‘Hunter Killer’.

Wanting to give Indian audiences an edge-of-the-seat-thriller experience, PVR Pictures and MVP Entertainment together are all set to release ‘Hunter Killer’ in India on October 26.

Navy thrillers have always been an audience favourite and now the time has come for Gerard Butler to take a crack at commanding under the sea, this October.

Adapted from the Don Keith and George Wallace’s 2012 novel ‘Firing Point’, Butler plays a submarine captain on a mission to rescue the Russian president and avoid WW3 by firing torpedoes at everything in sight.

Coming from the producer of ‘Fast and Furious’ and ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ and directed by Donovan Marsh, the film has Gerald Butler leading the cast as Captain Joe Glass.

The film also stars Academy Award winner Gary Oldman, Linda Cardellini, Common, and the late Michael Nyqvist.
