New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday wrote a letter to the state Chief Secretary DB Gupta demanding curb on spending of government funds for political yatra and other programmes, being organised by the ruling BJP ahead of the upcoming assembly polls
As per the letter, copy of which is provided by the ex-CM's office here, Mr Gehlot stated that functions at various places during the Chief Minister's ongoing 'Gaurav Yatra' have been managed at the cost of the government funds by the officials.
Likewise, the PM's public rally-cum-interaction with the beneficiaries of various government schemes was also organised in Jaipur on official level and that was converted into a BJP meeting that too in the presence of the state Governor, Mr Gehlot pointed out to the CS.
