Mumbai, Sept 26(UNI)Great Eastern Shipping Company informed that it took delivery of a secondhand Medium Gas Carrier 'Jag Vijaya' (1997 built) of about 35,420 cbm. The company had contracted to buy the vessel in September 2017, company said in a filing with BSE. The Company currents fleet stands at 47 vessels, comprising of 31 tankers ( 12 crude carriers, 16 product tankers, 3 LPG carrier)and 16 dry bluk carriers (1 capasize, 8 Kamsarmax, Supramax) with average age of 9.98 years aggregating 3.83 mn dwt. Reacting to the news the share of the company today hit its high of Rs 388.80 and low of Rs 382.00 so far during the day. The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited is engaged in the business of providing shipping services. The company's segments include shipping and offshore.
