Gaur puts MP govt in docks over garbage dumping site

Bhopal, Feb 28 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh government was today put in the docks in the Assembly by senior BJP member Babulal Gaur, over diseases spreading near a garbage dumping site in the state capital.
''Ninety-three per cent of people residing in colonies near the garbage dumping site in Bhanpur were found suffering from diseases by the Health Department. While this is the situation, the dispensation is planning to build a smart city,'' said Mr Gaur, while raising the issue during the Question Hour.
He said the Human Rights Commission intervened in the matter. Subsequently, two dispensaries, including doctors were asked to provide treatment to the affected. He alleged that officials concerned were not listening to him.
