Garret Wareing and Amanda Fix to essay young Ed and Lorraine Warren in 'The Conjuring: First Communion'

Los Angeles, July 15 (UNI) Garrett Wareing and Amanda Fix have been cast as the younger versions of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in the upcoming horror film "The Conjuring: First Communion."
Wareing, whose recent credits include "The Long Walk" and "Manifest", will portray a young Ed Warren, while Fix, recognised for her work in "Orphan Black: Echoes" and "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma", has been tapped to play a young Lorraine Warren.
Plot details for The Conjuring: First Communion remain under wraps. Rodrigue Huart will direct from a screenplay by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg, reports DREAD CENTRAL.
The Conjuring Universe includes The Conjuring (2013; set 1971), Annabelle (2014; set 1967), The Conjuring 2 (2016; set 1977), Annabelle: Creation (2017; set 1943 and 1955), The Nun (2018; set 1952), The Curse of La Llorona (2019; set 1973), Annabelle Comes Home (2019; set 1972), The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021; set 1981), The Nun II (2023; set 1956), and The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025; set 1986).
Warner Bros. is continuing to broaden the mythology with "The Revenge of La Llorona", the sequel to "The Curse of La Llorona", which is slated for release on April 9, 2027.
"The Conjuring: First Communion" will follow, officially haunting theaters on September 10, 2027. UNI NST CDS
