Garg played pivotal role in strengthening BJP in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 21 (UNI) Senior Delhi BJP leader and former Delhi BJP chief Mange Ram would be remembered as a grassroots leader who had deep connect with the people of the national capital and played a pivotal role in strengthening the party in the city-state.
Garg, 83, who died on Sunday after a prolonged illness, was born on November 23, 1936 in Kurad village of Haryana's Narwana district.
Since childhood, the former Delhi BJP chief was involved in social work and as a child used to serve water to travellers on the Samalkha railway station.
