Gangster involved in 20 cases held from Jamia Nagar

New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) A 40-year old gangster, allegedly involved in around 20 criminal cases, including murders and robberies, has been arrested from South Delhi’s Jamia Nagar, police said today.
The police said Faizan, a local resident of Jamia Nagar, along with his associates, had allegedly thrashed one Hasib last December to dispose him from his plot in the area and even indiscriminately fired in the air to terrorise him.
The gangster’s aides were later arrested in the case but Faizan managed to evade arrest. A non-bailable warrant of arrest was then issued against him by the court, a police official said.
