Ganga Yatra leaves Delhi for Banaras; fast by Sant Gopal Das continues on 122nd day

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) In a bid to generate general awareness over the issue of river Ganga and build a nationwide mass movement for the cause, a yatra has been flagged off from Rajghat, here.
The yatra, which started from Raj Ghat on Monday, would reached Banaras on November 25, to attend the 'Dharma-Sansad' in the pilgrim town.
After making point for Ganga in the meet for three days, this yatra would proceed for Prayagraj, to avail opportunity in Ardh-Kumbha for highlighting the issue of the river, Tarun Bharat Sangh chief Rajendra Singh, popularly known as the Waterman of India, said.
