Ganga-Varuna Corridor, built at ₹25,445 crore, set to transform Kashi

Varanasi, Jul 15 (UNI) Following the union Cabinet's approval of the proposed 89-km-long Ganga-Varuna river elevated corridor project, costing ₹25,445 crore, the Varanasi Municipal Corporation has described it as a historic step towards the development of Kashi.
Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari and Municipal Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister and Varanasi MP Narendra Modi for the project.
Mayor Tiwari stated that the Ganga-Varuna elevated corridor will be one of the largest infrastructure projects in Kashi's history. He said that it will facilitate transportation and boost employment, trade, and tourism.
