Ganga stir: Hunger strike in Rishikesh, Haridwar ; Yatra, Satyagraha in 7 states

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Indefinite hunger strike for clean and richly flowing Ganga continued in Rishikesh and Kankhal-Haridwar on Monday even as Gangotri to Gangasagar Yatra and other programmes were being held in as many as seven states in the country.
While fast by Sant Gopal Das entered 135th day on Monday, Brahmachari Atmabodhanand Saraswati has been on hunger strike at the Matrisadan ashram in Kankhal-Haridwar since October 24.
Sant Gopal Das, who was brought to the Jolleygrant Hospital in Haridwar on Saturday has again been shifted to AIIMS Rishikesh, the ashram spokesman Brahmachari Dayanand said on Monday.
