Gambhir, Ishant and Hardik Pandya in for first two Eng Tests; injured Rohit out

Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) Nursing their injuries, Team India will miss their regular opening batsmen with likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan, while Gautam Gambhir, pacer Ishant Sharma and Hardik Pandya were included in the 15-man squad for the first two England Tests, Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) All India Senior Selection Committee announced here today.
While Rahul and Dhawan were already nursing injuries, chief selector MSK Prasad said, adding that Rohit had also been injured. "He has a bad injury and might have to undergo a surgery," he said.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was adjudged Man of the Match award during the One-Day International (ODI) series against the Black Caps, is the only new face in the India squad.
