Gagan Narang went to Rio carrying heel injury, reveals NRAI

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) After one-and-a-half month of the completion of Rio Olympics, the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) today revealed that ace shooter Gagan Narang went to the mega event with a heel injury, which was undisclosed by him.
NRAI chief Raninder Singh, while releasing the Abhinav Bindra-led committee's report over the dismal show of Indian shooters at Rio, said that Narang was suffering from a heel injury, which he didn't disclose to the association.
"I can't ask each and every player about their injuries and fitness. Its the responsibility of the player to share his problems with us. However, Narang did not do so," said the president.
