New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI )Alleging that the so called 'Fringe groups' in the country were violently forcing several schools and churches against celebrating Christmas, noted writer and Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar on Wednesday said it was causing a negative perception in the world and particularly the West about India.

'In many cities of India many so-called “fringe groups “ are violently forcing many schools and churches against celebrating X'mas. Those who think it not causing a negative perception in the world, particularly the West, have their heads in the proverbial sand,' Javed Akhtar said in a post on social media.
