Frightening crime scene of Punjab does not prick conscience of Sukhbir: Channi

Gurdaspur, May 25 (UNI) Punjab Congress Legislature Party leader Charanjit Singh Channi today said that it is shocking the ghastly crime scene in Punjab does not prick the conscience of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is also the Home Minister, going by his claims of improvement in situation, citing the national crime bureau figures.
Reacting sharply to what he described as bizarre and absurd claims made by the Deputy Chief Minister by citing comparative figures, Mr Channi asked him as to how would he explain the murderous attack involving about three dozen people on Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale, in which his associate was killed.
Participating in the office taking function of newly appointed Gurdaspur DCC President Ashok Chaudhary, the congress leader said what was all the more horrifying was the fact that a prominent person with whom the assailants were associated, had warned of retaliation, in case his organisation was criticised.
