Fresh surge in Covid pandemic, 354 new cases detected

Shimla, Apr 1 (UNI) A new wave of corona infection has knocked the door of in Himachal Pradesh as 354 new cases have been detected during the past 24 hours, thereby increasing Covid positive cases in the state to 1196.

According to Health Department officials, maximum 270 Covid active cases were reported in district Kangra, 248 cases have been reported in Mandi, 161 cases have been reported in Shimla, 141 in Hamirpur, 112 in Bilaspur, 84 in Solan, 64 in Kullu, 47 in Chamba, 39 in Sirmaur, 12 in Kinnaur while 9 cases have been reported in Lahaul Spiti and Una.
