Freecharge users can buy gift cards for their friends & family

Gurugram, Oct 22 (UNI) E-commerce platform for financial services and products Freecharge announced the launch of its unique e-gifting product.
"Freecharge customers can choose gift cards from an array of 60+ brands across categories like fashion, entertainment, shopping, dining, and send it to their loved ones over email.
''While traditional gifting during festive season remains an evergreen practice, digital gifting is gradually gathering steam with the growing digital penetration in India and technology adoption by Indian customers," said Freecharge CEO Sangram Singh.
Through this new offering, customers can select the brand, theme and personalize a message to create the card and send it to the recipient's email ID.
The card contains a unique code related to the brand, these codes can be redeemed by the beneficiary for purchase on the brand portal.
Available on both Android and iOS operating systems, the service allows the customers to decide and alter the gift card value as per their choice.
Freecharge users can also send themed gift cards to their friends and families for any occasion, like birthdays, anniversaries among others, anytime, anywhere with just a click of a button.
