FPR demands withdrawal of decision to drop entrance exam for Fine Arts students

Puducherry, June 3 (UNI) The Federation for People’s Rights here on Wednesday urged the territorial administration to withdraw its decision to drop the entrance examination for first year Fine Arts students at the Bharathiyar Palkalai Koodam this year.

In a statement issued here federation secretary, G Sugumaran said the Bharathiyar Palakalai Koodam in functioning with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliation of the Pondicherry central university. The decision was taken by the management without consulting anyone which may lead to the cancellation of the AICET approval and university affiliation.
