Pratapgarh, Jul 15 (UNI) Four people were killed in three separate road mishaps in this Uttar Pradesh district, police said on Wednesday.
According to the police here, the first mishap took place near Rehua in the Udaypur police station area when a bike rammed into an electric pole after losing control in an attempt to save a cow. Motorcycle-borne Rohit and his cousin Dharmesh were killed in the accident.
In another road accident in the Jariyari village of Raniganj when an unidentified vehicle hit Usha Singh, who was returning from somewhere. The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.
