Four killed as van collides with lorry

Ongole, Dec 12 (UNI) Four persons were killed and eight others were injured, when a van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Kottapalli village in Prakasham district on Thursday.
Police said that 12 members of two families, belonged to Padditi village in Ballari district in Karnataka, went to Patimeeda Palem village in Chimakurthi mandal to see their relatives.
When they were going back to their village, their van collided with a lorry killing Ch Hamsamma (60), B Sunita (28), Ch Suguna (63) and S Himantha Reddy (63). Three deceased were killed instantaneously while Himantha Reddy died while undergoing treatment in the government hospital.
