Four injured in Bengal crude bomb blast

Barrackpore, Nov 27 (UNI) Panic gripped a part of the Bhatpara municipal area of West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Sunday following a series of explosions a little after four people were wounded as a crude bomb went off, official sources said.
The Rapid Action Force (RAF) was deployed in the affected ward number 17, they added.
Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the bomb explosion.

All 15 candidates for two LS seats clear scrutiny

Itanagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Altogether, 168 nominations filed for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections were found to be valid after scrutiny of papers on Thursday, while the process of scrutinising nominations against Itanagar and Daporijo constituencies has been adjourned till Friday, the results of which would be out by 11 a.m., an election official said.
