Four held for robbery in AP

Kakinada, Sep 17(UNI) The central crime station police have arrested four people on Tuesday and seized two gold rings weighing seven grams and an auto, used for committing offences, from their possession.
The alleged accused were identified Illa Narayana (32), Geddada Dhanaraj (40),Boddu Krishna (31) and Mirapala Vira Venkata Prasad (30), all belonging from Toorangi village.

Crime wing DSP Bhimarao told media that they used to take the passengers, mainly aged womenfolk, during night hours and after looting them at the point of knife, leave them in isolated places.
He said the accused confessed that they robbed woman passengers during nights at various places in the city during past one year.
They were sent to court for judicial remand, he added.
