Four foreigners & two PIOs get Padma Shri

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Among the 102 Padma Shri awardees, four foreigners and two Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) have been conferred with the fourth highest civilian awards on the eve of 72nd Republic Day.
Among the six foreigners, Mr Peter Brook of United Kingdom (UK) and Mr Wayan Dibia of Indonesia have been conferred with Padma Shri for their work in Art while Father Valles of Spain, who has been awarded posthumously for Literature and Education.
Another foreign national Colonel Quazi Sajjad Ali Zahir of neighbouring country Bangladesh was awarded for his works in Public Affairs.
