Vijayawada, Oct 4 (UNI) Four fishermen, who ventured into river Krishna for fishing in a boat, were drowned after it was capsized at Royyuru village near here and the bodies were fished out on Sunday.
Police said, five fishermen ventured into river Krishna, which is in spate, in a country boat for fishing on Saturday evening.
When they were returning to the shore, the boat capsized. One of the fishermen swam ashore safely while four others washed away in the swirling river water.
