Four camps hit in Pak; Operation Sindoor ongoing: Gen Murugan

Bengaluru, Oct 11 (UNI) Maj Gen (Retd) Ravi Murugan, today revealed that of the nine terrorist camps targeted during Operation Sindoor, four were located across the international border inside Pakistan, marking the first time India extended retaliatory strikes beyond the Line of Control.
Speaking at Innoverge 2025 organised by CII, the decorated army veteran said, "Of the nine terrorist camps targeted during Operation Sindoor, four were located across the international border inside Pakistan, marking the first time India extended retaliatory strikes beyond the Line of Control.”
Gen Murugan clarified that Operation Sindoor has not officially ended, and India maintains a continuous deterrence posture, ready to respond to any future provocations.

Kottayam (Kerala), Nov 16 (UNI) In an unusual and symbolic protest against the reservation system in elections, a male candidate has filed his nomination in a reserved ward exclusively for women in Pala Municipality, calling the quota policy “undemocratic.”
E B J Jose, Chairman of the Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation, submitted his nomination papers for Ward 9 (Kochippadi), which is reserved exclusively for women candidates.
