Kabul, Sep 12 (UNI) Four Afghan soldiers were killed and three others injured in a suicide car bomb blast outside Afghan army special forces' base in the capital on Thursday.
"At around 1250 hrs local time, a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle in front of the gate of Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps in Rish Khor locality of Chahar Asyab district. The blast resulted in four soldiers killed and three injured," Xinhua news agency quoted police official as saying.
Taliban militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The explosion was the latest in a string of bombings that have targeted dozens of military and security compounds across the country.
On August 7, 14 people were killed and 180 others wounded after a Taliban truck bombing struck a police station in Kabul.
