Foundation stone lays for Building to accommodate women habisialli

Bhubaneswar, Oct 6 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today laid the foundation
stone for the construction of building at the holy city Puri to accommodate thousands of
women Habisialli visiting the town every year to observe month long kartik brata.
Laying the foundation stone through a video conference, Mr Patnaik said the
seven-storeyed building would be built at Narendra Kona at a cost of Rs 39 crore.
The building would accommodate 2,000 Habisialli at a time.
Mr Patnaik directed the officials to complete the building by next year.
He also directed the district officials to see that the Habisiallis staying at far off places
have a darshan of the deities without any difficulty.
This year also the government has made free boarding and fooding provisions for
Habisiallis in three different places of the Puri town.
