Foundation stone for M’patnam sea port to be laid in December: CM

Vijayawada, Nov 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that foundation stone for the construction of much awaited "Sea Port" in Machilipatnam in Krishna district would be laid in December, 2018.
Addressing a public meeting at Ullipalem village in Koduru mandal, after dedicating the bridge to the nation, constructed across the river Krishna at a cost of Rs.77 crore, on Wednesday, he said that the Machilipatnam Sea Port works would begin in December. He said that clearance was already given for the construction of port.
The Chief Minister also announced that an industrial corridor would come up in the area, which helps a lot for the development of the Machilipatnam region. He said that Navayuga constructions Visweswra Rao, who constructed the Krishnapatnam Sea Port, is determined to construct Machilipatnam Sea Port .
