Foundation day of fake encounter victims held at Imphal

Imphal, July 11 (UNI): The 17th foundation day of the "Extrajudicial Execution Victim Families Association, Manipur (EEVFAM)" was held today at Lamyanba Sanglen, Palace Compound, Imphal.
Floral tributes were offered to the photographs of victims by those present.
Renu Takhellambam, President, EEVFAM, said that the struggle for justice is a long way off, and that the support given by the legal fraternity and other well-wishers sustains the movement. She appealed to all who have lost their loved ones not to give up hope and to continue the legal battle in the Supreme Court. She further said that, braving all odds financial, mental, and physical—the family members will continue the movement against injustice and the killing of innocents.
