Former union minister Vincent Pala inducted as Congress Chief of Meghalaya

Shillong, Sep 18 (UNI) Former union minister and sitting Lok Sabha member Vincent H. Pala was inducted as president of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Saturday.
However, senior Congress leader and former chief minister Mukul Sangma and his party legislators from Garo Hills were conspicuous by their absence.
This is the second time that Sangma and his supporters didn’t attend the programme felicitating two former Congress legislators Robert Garnett Lyngdoh and Pynshngainlang N Syiem who have returned to the party fold.
