Former Senior Palestinian Official Dahlan May Be Involved in Khashoggi Case – Reports

Ankara, Nov 18 (Sputnik) A group of four people that was allegedly sent to Istanbul to cover up the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate was dispatched by former leader of the Palestinian Fatah movement in the Gaza Strip Mohammed Dahlan, local media reported on Sunday.
The Yeni Safak newspaper describes Dahlan as a "chief hitman" of UAE Crown Prince Muhammed bin Zayed in the Middle East region.
The team reportedly arrived in Istanbul on October 1, a day before the murder of Khashoggi, and entered the consulate on October 2, where it spent several days, Yeni Safak reported citing surveillance footage obtained by Turkish officials.
