Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathes his last

New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and among the founding members of the Bharatiya
Janata party Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Thursday breathed his last at the All India Institute for medical sciences, hospital sources said .
He was 93.
A colossus in the political firmament of India, Mr vajpayee, who had been admitted to the All Indian Institute for medical sciences nine weeks ago, died at 1705 hours.
Mr Vajpayee has not been well for the last few years, but his condition reportedly deteriorated further recently.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of Mr Vajpayee.
He said Mr Vajpayee will always remain an inspiration and a source guidance.
