Former Orissa HC judge, 5 others sent to CBI custody for 4 days

New Delhi, Sept 21(UNI) A Delhi Court today order to four day CBI custody to a retired Orissa High Court Judge IM Quddusi and five others who were arrested on the charges of helping an educational trust barred from admitting medical course students.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case of criminal conspiracy under Indian Penal Code and under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused on Tuesday and conducted raids at eight locations in Delhi, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar.
CBI during the raids including at Quddusi's residence in south Delhi's Greater Kailash area seized Rs 1.91 crore, including Rs 1 crore from middleman Agrawala and Rs 91 lakh from others.
