Former Meghalaya Transport Minister Sarkar dead

Shillong, Dec 3 (UNI) Former Meghalaya Transport Minister, Manirul Islam Sarkar passed away at private hospital in Assam after a second massive heart attack.
The deceased was 53.
Sarkar, the two-time legislator was supposed to fight the next year Assembly election on National People’s Party (NPP) ticket from Phulbari assembly constituency against Assembly Speaker , Abu Taher Mondal.
