Paris, March 29 (UNI) France politician and former minister Patrick Devedjian passed away here on Sunday due to the novel coronavirus. He was 75.
"Patrick Devedjian, the former minister and the president of the General Council of Hauts-de-Seine, hospitalized after positive COVID-19 test, passed away on Sunday night," an official statement quoted by local media read.
Patrick, first publicly announced he was suffering from symptoms of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday. He also said that his condition was stable and thanked medical staff for their work.
