Police sources here today said the Congress activists were arrested and sent to jail late last evening for ransacking the range office and assaulting the officials. The Congress activists, led by Mr Majhi, were demonstrating in front of the forest range office demanding allotment of forest land rights to tribals and a fresh survey to identify the beneficiaries of ration cards under the National Food Security Act.
