Foreign funds being pumped into J&K to spread militant activities

Srinagar, Jun 28 (UNI) Foreign funds are being routed into Jammu and Kashmir through various channels, including hawala to spread militant activities in the state.
However, there is no report about the particulars of identified separatist leaders found receiving Hawala money in the recent past, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who also holds Home portfolio said in the Legislative Assembly to an un-starred question by Sat Paul Sharma of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today. Mr Sharma had asked about the identified source of funding of separatists for spreading terrorist activities in the state.
The reply said as per the reports, foreign funds are being routed through various channels, including Hawan and Foreign Indian Currency Network (FICN), to spread militancy in the state.
